Contact Unbiased Wheel

Updated November 2, 2026

The best way to reach me is by email: contact@unbiasedwheel.com. I’m Tanveer Azam Ansari, the person who builds Unbiased Wheel, and I read every message myself.

What to write about

  • Bugs: something doesn’t work, looks broken on your screen, or shows a result that seems wrong.
  • Fairness questions: you want to know exactly how a tool picks, or a result looks suspicious. I take these seriously and will explain the method or fix the problem.
  • Accessibility problems: a control you can’t reach with the keyboard, a result your screen reader doesn’t announce, or text that is hard to read.
  • Ideas: a setting that would help your stand-up, workshop, stream or party, or a tool you’d like to see.
  • Translations: German or Japanese wording that sounds unnatural.

How to report a bug

A clear report helps me fix the problem quickly. Please include:

  1. The page address, without anything after a # (that part can contain your list).
  2. What you did, step by step, and what you expected to happen.
  3. What happened instead, ideally with a screenshot.
  4. Your device and browser, for example “iPhone, Safari” or “Windows laptop, Chrome”.

Please don’t send personal data

The tools never need your lists, so please don’t email the names of colleagues, family members or gift-exchange participants. If a problem only happens with a certain list, describe it instead (“about 300 entries with emoji”) or replace the names with placeholders like “Person 1”. For the same reason, avoid pasting a full share link unless the list in it is harmless.

What I can’t help with

Unbiased Wheel is for fun and everyday decisions. I can’t settle disputes about a result, and I don’t give advice about gambling, lotteries or prize draws, or about legal, medical or financial decisions.

Replies

I try to answer every message within a few working days. Fixes and new tools are listed on the changelog, and the about page explains how the tools work.
