How to make your own bingo cards

This free bingo card generator is a bingo card maker and printer in one: pick a format, set the number of cards and print.

  1. Choose the card type: 75-ball (the default), 90-ball or Words.
  2. Set how many cards you need under Cards, from 1 to 100. The preview updates as you go.
  3. Fine-tune the look. Keep or turn off the Free center and change its text, add a Title and a Footer such as “Team social · Dec 12”, and choose a Color.
  4. Pick the layout for printing: Cards per page (1, 2 or 4) and Paper (US Letter or A4).
  5. Press Print / Save as PDF. Your browser’s print window opens; print, or choose “Save as PDF” to keep or send a file.

Show all displays the cards after the first 12, New deck makes a new set, and Share creates a link that rebuilds the same deck on another computer.

75-ball, 90-ball or word bingo?

A 75-ball card with columns B 1–15 to O 61–75 next to a 90-ball ticket with five numbers in each of three rows

  • 75-ball cards have five columns under B, I, N, G and O. Column B holds numbers 1–15, I 16–30, N 31–45, G 46–60 and O 61–75, in random order, with an optional free space in the middle.
  • 90-ball tickets follow the UK style: 3 rows by 9 columns with exactly five numbers in each row, fifteen in all. The columns hold 1–9, 10–19 and so on up to 80–90, small to large from top to bottom.
  • Word bingo cards don’t have to be 5 × 5: they also come in 3 × 3 and 4 × 4. Items can be up to 40 characters, duplicates are removed, and odd grids can have a free center.

Bingo card ideas

  • Office meeting bingo: squares like “You’re on mute” and “Let’s take this offline” turn a long call into a game; start from the Office meeting starter.
  • Baby shower bingo: guests mark gifts as they’re unwrapped — onesie, stroller, night light.
  • Holiday party bingo: mix the Holiday party starter with your team’s own traditions, and pair it with the Secret Santa generator for the gift exchange.
  • Conference buzzword bingo: “game changer”, “north star”, “Q&A runs over” — for keynote watchers with a sense of humor.
  • Road-trip bingo: spot a red barn, a water tower or a scenic overlook.
  • Music bingo: list the song titles you’ll play, generate word cards, and play the songs in random order with the bingo caller set to Words.

Use 30 or more items so cards differ in content, not just in order: with exactly as many items as squares, every card holds the same items, and the bingo generator says so.

Printing tips

Two cards per page suit most events; four save paper when players sit close (100 cards take 25 bingo sheets). For large print, choose one card per page: the squares are 30 mm tall with 22-point numbers. Pick US Letter or A4 to match your printer; the margins are 12 mm, and dashed lines mark where to cut. Save as PDF to keep a file: your bingo card template for printing the same cards again. For 50 or 100 cards, print from a desktop or laptop; card stock lasts longer with markers or counters.

Playing on phones

Play on phones lists a link for every card. Send one link to each player by chat or email; they need no app or account. On the phone, a tap marks or unmarks a square (each at least 56 pixels tall). BINGO! shows the card number and deck code in huge type for the host, and Clear marks starts the card fresh. Links contain the deck’s random seed, the card number, the title and, for word bingo, your items — no names or accounts.

How every card is made unique (deck code)

Every deck starts from a random seed made by your browser’s secure random generator. Each card is derived from that seed and its card number, so card 7 is the same on paper, on a phone and in the caller. Every card shows the seed’s first six characters as the deck code, with its card number: “Deck K7QX2M · Card 7 of 10”. A card that would repeat an earlier one is made again, so no two cards in a deck match.

Press Open caller for this deck to run the game: the bingo caller calls numbers or words at random and checks any card by its number. Or try the quiz board maker, the random number generator or the wheel spinner.

FAQ

How do I make my own bingo cards?

Choose 75-ball, 90-ball or Words, set how many cards you need, and the cards appear right away. For custom bingo cards, type your items one per line or load a theme starter. Add a title and footer, pick a color, then press Print / Save as PDF for free bingo cards. No sign-up, and nothing you type leaves your browser.

Are all the bingo cards different?

Yes. Every card in a deck is checked against the others, and a card that would repeat one is made again, so up to 100 cards are always unique. Each card carries its deck code and card number, so the caller can check it instantly.

Can I make bingo cards with words instead of numbers?

Yes. Choose Words, pick a 3 × 3, 4 × 4 or 5 × 5 grid, and enter at least as many items as squares — 24 for 5 × 5 with a free center. Use your own list or start from a bingo template: office meeting, baby shower, holiday party, conference buzzwords or road trip. Song titles make it a music bingo card generator.

How many different bingo cards are possible?

With a free center, the 75-ball rules allow 552,446,474,061,128,648,601,600,000 different cards (about 5.5 × 10²⁶), and 90-ball tickets about 3.7 × 10¹⁸. Word cards depend on your list: 24 items on a 5 × 5 card give about 6.2 × 10²³ layouts, and 8 items on 3 × 3 give 40,320. A deck holds up to 100, all different.

What's the difference between 75-ball and 90-ball bingo?

75-ball cards are 5 × 5 grids headed B-I-N-G-O, each column with its own range from 1–15 to 61–75, usually with a free center. UK-style 90-ball tickets have 3 rows and 9 columns with five numbers per row and blank squares between them, so players play for one line, two lines or a full house.

Can players use bingo cards on their phones?

Yes. Press Play on phones and send each player the link for one card. It opens in the phone's browser; players tap squares to mark them, and the marks stay on their phone. BINGO! shows the card number and deck code in large type for the host.

How do I check a winning card?

Use Open caller for this deck: the bingo caller loads your deck, and when someone shouts BINGO you type their card number into Check a card. It shows the card with every called number marked and says whether it has a line, four corners or a full card, or what's still missing.
